I woke up to a super early message from a Mama checking to see if I could fit them in for newborn photos. She had messaged me last minute as her original intended newborn photographer had to cancel and she had been eagerly planning her sweet baby girl’s photos for awhile. While I can’t always accommodate last minute bookings, every once in awhile the stars align and I have space to fit in someone who is trying to book their newborn photos once baby has already arrived. For this Mama it worked out great, and the whole family did so amazing despite driving 4 HOURS just to have me photograph their little family.

Welcome to the Family

You just never know what you’ll get for family photos when the siblings are younger. Kids are unpredictable and toddlers well, you just can’t reason with a toddler lol. These two sweet kids were so so good and when I caught big sister smiling at the camera while everyone else was focused on the baby my heart melted.

Forever Our Little Girl

Parent Photos are a favorite of mine. You probably won’t feel like hopping in front of the camera after you’ve just had a baby and feel sleep deprived. But the special bond that I capture of a Mama and Daddy’s love, there’s nothing like it, and I promise you that you’ll be so thankful later on you have a picture to remember this special time by.

There’s No Time to Sleep

When we first began her solo newborn photos this baby girl only wanted to be awake to stare at me (lol). But within minutes she soon fell fast asleep because she was fed, she was cozy wrapped and warm, and because they all do eventually.

Neutral Newborn Set Up

Neutrals and whites always seem to be a very popular pick for baby photos today. My own personal favorite is an all white set up because it’s so classic and it really puts all the adorable features of baby front and centre.

Flower Power

There’s nothing better than including some perfect florals in a baby girl’s photos. This little girl looked so gorgeous in this shade of pink and the flowers that I had scattered around her.

Precious Newborn Photos

This sweet little girl decided to be extra good to me and slept so soundly through all of the beanbag poses. I love how girly and sweet she looks in the pink and with the flower headband.

Good Night Moon

When her Mama told me that her middle name was Luna I knew that I needed something that incorporated it. The moon and stars on the purple was perfect for her and what made it even more adorable was the fact that she woke up and we got to incorporate some of her priceless expressions.
