This Edmonton Newborn Mini Session was close to my heart as the Mama was an old co-worker of mine. So when she messaged me saying that she was expecting her second, a girl (her first was a boy) I was super excited to be doing their newborn photos.

Baby B. was such a little doll. When Susan brought her in I nearly died when I saw all that hair!!! She was a little more awake and alert than some babies, but we managed to get her to sleep to get some really cutes shots of her.

I was really excited that Mama allowed me to choose some colors for her that I thought would look best on her. When I put her in the blue I knew it was the right pick as her beautiful skin just glowed and her features popped.

When we got to the last set up I had a plan but Baby B. had other ideas, so we just went with it and I actually really love how they awake shots turned out on the lilac. She was such a joy to photograph, I know her parents are gonna be fighting off all the boys when this little beauty gets older.
