I put baby safety as my number one priority. I have taken numerous courses on how to pose a baby safely during a newborn session. Not only can I achieve all those adorable poses of your little one, I can also make sure they’re never at any risk. All of my sessions are baby-led, meaning that I take my cues from your babe, I never push a pose just to get the shot. I want to make sure that your baby is comfortable at all times during your session. 

The Experience

My goal for each newborn session is to create a one of a kind experience for each of my clients. I tailor each session to your individual tastes to create the newborn session you’ve been dreaming about. I have a studio that’s full of one of a kind props, bonnets, headbands, and wraps to help your vision come to life. When you come in for your session kick back and relax, enjoy a drink and a snack, and enjoy a few hours of you time while I capture all those sweet pictures of your babe. 

Heirloom Artwork

I specialize in creating heirloom artwork for my clients. While I do provide digital files, my goal is to give you custom artwork that you can hang, share, and love for your home. It’s too easy to get a digital file and for them just to have a permanent home on your phone or computer. But your memories are priceless, and should have a space in your home. I work with you to find the perfect pieces of artwork that will suit your home, what walls, sizes to best showcase your memories for years to come. 

An Expert

I am a trained and seasoned photographer. I share my full story here, but at the end of the day I have been doing photography for many years. I didn’t just pick up a camera yesterday, I have been perfecting and working on my craft for years. You can know that you’ll come away from your session with professional photos, because you’re working with an expert.

My Passion

I love photography with all of my heart. I knew I found my calling the moment I picked up a camera and am happiest when I have a camera in my hands and I’m capturing memories. I pour that passion into all of my work. I consider it both a huge responsibly and blessing to be able to capture people’s stories and memories, and therefore treat it with the upmost respect. 

A Mother’s Touch

I have many roles that I play, photographer, wife, but one of my most important is mother. I have 2 babies of my own that are my entire world. I dreamed of being a mother since I was a little girl and when I finally had my own children something came alive inside me. I treasure my babies and know how quickly the moments pass by and how fast they change. This is why I’m passionate to capture these special moments for my clients. Also being a Mama myself I know babies. I’ve been in the trenches of motherhood with the continual spit up, up all night, colicky, teething, gassy, and all the trials that being a mother can throw at you. I bring this knowledge with me into each of my sessions and I handle each little one with the same care as I would my own babies. So your baby will be handled with the gentle touch of a mother, but with the knowledge of an expert. 

I am so blessed by each family that chooses me to photograph and capture the memories of their sweet babe. It is an honour that means more than I can express.
