It was such a joy to capture the whole story for Venu and Sai from their maternity photos to the photos of their brand new baby girl. This Edmonton Bump to Baby Session shows just what it can look like for me to capture your family’s story in it’s entirety. It was this sweet couple’s first baby and I could tell that the anticipation and excitement for her to arrive was huge.

Edmonton River Valley Maternity Session

Autumn has to be one of my favorite times for maternity photos, all the beautiful colors from the leaves make for beautiful photos. What I loved about these photos was seeing the sweet love Sai and Venu had for each other and it just made me think how loved and adored their little girl would be.

When Sai and Venu emailed me and told me their little girl had arrived I was so excited! I had a feeling that she was going to have a lot of hair (YAY!) and be so beautiful just like her mama.

One of my favorite parts of newborn sessions is getting to chat with parents, especially first time ones, and share any of my own experience from being a mama and also newborn photographer to parents. I know becoming a parent doesn’t come with a manual and newborns even when it’s not your first are a learning curve, so I am always happy to chat about all the ins and outs.

You could see all through out the session just how smitten both mama and dad were and it was absolutely adorable to see how much they adored their brand new baby girl.

The beautiful baby L. looked like the perfect little model for all of her beanbag poses. I loved the way she would naturally pose her hand by her face and look like the most perfect little princess.

Purple!!!! I absolutely love girls in purple and knew immediately when her mama asked that baby L. would look amazing in it. One of my favorites is the wrapped pose with the flowers because it instantly makes it that much more girly.

Baby Prop Shots – YEG Baby Photos

I loved the variety of colors that the parents chose for this session. Being able to use everything from light neutrals to bright peach was really fun and let me be creative with the set ups.
