I am always excited to discuss with parents exactly what they’re dreaming of for their babies newborn photography session and can’t wait to see what ideas they have. When I talked to this little one’s Mama one thing was clear, they were comic book and star wars fans and wanted something unique incorporated as part of their session. I am always up for a good challenge so I set about figuring out how to add in a Star Wars set for this little one’s session. I am very lucky that my husband is also an avid Star Wars fan, so when I talked to him about it, he already had a few ships that I could use for the session. I knew I wanted to wrap her so that it mimicked the robe that you see them wear in some of the movies. I added stars to the shot afterwards in editing and loved the final image that was created!

She was also such an easy going baby, I was ecstatic to capture a few shots of her smiling for her parents (which of course they chose). Her parents were very easy-going about playing with different colors for her session, so we ended up using a big mixture of colors on her. Her parents also wanted one family photo shot of the three of them which was super sweet.
