It’s a little hard to remain un-biased with this engagement session as we had the absolute privilege of photographing Brittani’s niece Allie and her fiancé Brody. With family it’s always hard not to get a little emotional as it’s a mixture of emotions in being able to be part of that special time and help capture the moment, as well as excitement in waiting to see what all the future holds. With the early warm temperatures of spring just hitting Edmonton that weekend we were in for a bit of a surprise as the location we had chosen that has looked like Narnia the weekend before, had a been totally transformed by the sun and was a mix of winter leaving and spring trying to break through. These two were totally able to go with the flow and enjoy themselves in the warmer temps and laugh with us. With these two it was a refreshing watching the joy of young love and quiet assurance they drew from each other. Brody always has the ability to get Allie to laugh or smile with his antics, while you could see the way she drew strength from him. 

We can’t wait for their wedding this summer, because first everyone knows that a Dorsch wedding is a fun wedding (Brittani’s bias for sure lol), and second because we know these two big day will be a special one. Congrats you two!
